Khalid’s Disclosure-produced single “Talk” has reached number one on the urban radio chart, according to the latest Mediabase report. This feat gives Khalid his first chart-topping single on this radio format.
Khalid’s lead on urban radio stems from significant airplay for both the original version and the remix featuring Yo Gotti and Megan Thee Stallion.
The global superstar makes chart news on more than one front. On the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart this week, “Talk” rises from No. 2 to No. 1, becoming his first song to reach the summit. His breakout hit “Location,” off his debut album American Teen, placed at No. 2 in May 2017.
Since the February break of “Talk,” the infectious record off his Free Spirit album has hit number one on two other radio formats: pop and rhythmic. The song is on the move in the top 10 on urban AC radio.
At the moment, Khalid is living his best life on his first-ever headlining arena tour. He is also on featured on Ed Sheeran’s newly released No. 6 Collaborations Project.
