Love will make you do some crazy things, take it from Sabrina Claudio.
Her sultry new single “Holding The Gun” features some of her most fluid vocals yet. The narrative of the emotionally raw record describes the risk a person will take when they’re deeply in love with someone who holds their heart.
She packages “Holding The Gun” with a cinematic visual that follows her and her lover after robbing a store. Unfazed by the wanted posters plastered across town, Claudio, who is dolled up in a killer look, doesn’t mind riding for her man until the end of time.
“‘Holding The Gun’ symbolizes loyalty and an everlasting type of love,” shared Claudio about the song in a press statement. “I wanted to make sure that showing violence was not a factor within the visual as violence, conceptually, isn’t what the song is about. The blood and insinuation of crime represent the lengths one would go when so deeply in love.”
Leading up to “Holding The Gun,” Claudio has released two other beautiful tunes: “All My Love” featuring Wale and “As Long As You’re Sleep.
On September 21, Claudio will launch The Truth Is Tour with special guest Gallant. The first stop at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
