The heart wants what it wants and Maeta only has one thing on her agenda. The Indianapolis singer pours her sweet and crisp soprano over “Be Mine (Remix)” featuring Arin Ray.
Produced by Jason “J.LBS” Pounds (Anderson. Paak, SiR), the familiar sounding production leans towards a stripped-down feel. Lightly layered with a kick drum and guitar, Maeta and Ray’s vocals sway in and out of the production to create a hazy and mellow vibe.
Maeta opens the song with a confident energy as she sings, “Said I want you to be my / Crazy little game / Sweet eternal flame / Said I want you to be my / Perfect disaster / Happily ever after / I want you to be mine.”
Maeta released her first song “Debbie Downer” earlier this year.
