Earlier this month, the original version of Teedra Moses’ debut album Complex Simplicity disappeared from streaming services. Some fans, like Panama Jackson of Very Smart Brothas, immediately started praying for its return. They got their wish, plus more.
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of her album, has unleashed a special edition that includes four bonus tracks that originally appeared on the international versions.
“I’ve learned nothing else in 15 years… I learned without a doubt, I’m stronger than anyONE (including myself) ever thought I was. Welcome to the age of the #GoddessesandGangstas Sept. 27th rerelease,” Moses wrote on Instagram.
Moses originally released Complex Simplicity on August 10, 2004, via TVT Records. The timeless body of work featured some of her fan-favorite singles like “You’ll Never Find (A Better Woman)” featuring Jadakiss and “Be Your Girl.”
