Sometimes, it’s hard to let someone go. If you need help speeding up the process, Mikhala Jené has the perfect song. The North Carolina singer has released her new single titled “Thou Shall Move On.”
Co-produced by Los Hendrix and Jené’s producer Deputy, the duo created a steady and thumping jam, featuring melodic electronic guitar riffs.
Jené’s full-bodied and slightly smoky vocals pad the nostalgic sounding production, as she sings about moving on from her lover who is playing games.
Jené also released an accompanying video for the song. The crisp and bright visual features Jené lounging around, possibly waiting for her boo to come around. The mirrored performance shots add a splash of creativity to the straightforward video.
Jené shared on Instagram that she is currently working on her next project.
