The Bonfyre is gunning for her second number one spot on the urban adult contemporary radio chart.
Her 6LACK-assisted single “U Say” has broken into the top 10 on the traditional R&B format.
The Harmony Samuels-produced duet is drawing over five million listener impressions at 81 monitored stations. The song has more than 5.3 million streams on Spotify.
While The Bonfyre is right at home in the top 10 on the airplay chart, 6LACK is charting in new radio territory for the first time. The Grammy-nominated crooner could see similar results on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart in the coming weeks, as “U Say” stands at No. 11.
The Bonfyre, who claimed the top slot on urban AC radio with “Automatic,” is going on tour with Fantasia. The multi-city tour launches on October 17 in Columbia, South Carolina, and wraps on December 6 in Los Angeles, California.
Robin Thicke and Tank are also special guests for the tour. Tickets are on sale now.
