Deborah Cox Returns With New Song ‘Easy Way’

Debora Cox "Easy Way" single cover

Deborah Cox welcomes a new era of music with “Easy Way,” her first single in two years.

The track, written and produced by Rico Love, finds Cox singing about taking a ‘easy way’ out of love.

She sings, “Easy way to leave, easy way to go / Easy way to run straight up out the back door / Easy way to quit there’s an easy way of giving up.”

“Easy Way” is a departure from the dance pop-feel of songs like 2017’s “Let The World Be Ours Tonight,” as it features elements of hip-hop and contemporary R&B.

At this time, there is no word if “Easy Love” is attached to a future project.

Cox teased a new album titled Work of Art back in 2015 along with the singles “Kinda Miss You” and “More Than I Knew.”

Cox hasn’t released a proper full-length album since 2008’s The Promise.
