Budding singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ has enlisted fellow R&B star Jessie Reyez for the remix to his fan-favorite track “Honesty.”
Reyez kicks things off with lyrics about trust and paranoia within situationships, singing, “ Oh baby, he lied / Now my eyes only see sus’ activity / Usually on my guard, but you’re just trying to be a friend to me.”
A slight tuneup from the 2018 version production-wise, the song flaunts Sweat$’ and Reyez’s natural chemistry as artists. The track originally appeared on Sweat$’ 2018 EP Volume 1.
Sweat$ released “I Wanna Be Yours” back in October, the first taste of new music since his Volume 2 EP.
The project featured fan favorites such as “Body Ain’t Me” and “Coke & Henny Pt. 2. Sweat$ released a video for the latter tune back in June.
In other news, Sweat$ will perform at the 2019 Soul Train Awards this Sunday in Las Vegas.
