It’s here. Tory Lanez has released his highly-anticipated project, Chixtape 5.
Inspired by the 2000s, the 18-track LP is loaded with features from Chris Brown, Trey Songz, T-Pain, Jagged Edge, Jermaine Dupri, Mya, Mario, The-Dream, Lloyd, Slim of 112, Lil Wayne, Fabolous and NYCE. Ashanti, who is seen on the official cover, also lends her vocals to the project.
Speaking on his new project, Lanez says, “I had to do something that my fans couldn’t believe until they saw it and heard it for themselves. People have loved the Chixtape series for so long and it’s never been available on DSP’s.”
He continues, “Not only did we go back and clear all the samples, but we got the original artists that we love so much to get back on these records with me. I wanted to make something that people from different generations could appreciate and share together. Something that would make us celebrate our happy memories- music to enjoy life to.”
