R&B sensation SZA and pop star Justin Timberlake have joined forces for their new single titled “The Other Side.”
It is the first single from the upcoming Trolls World Tour (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) that is set to release on March 13 via RCA Records.
The labelmates also shared the supporting video, which was inspired by hip-hop and R&B videos from the ’90s. The clip shows SZA and Timberlake dancing and being playful in front of a fisheye lens.
“I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in this project with Justin,” SZA said in a press release. “The creative process of working with him and the team was filled with such excitement. It’s an energy you can feel in both the song and music video.”
Timberlake added, “It has been such a fun process writing and executive producing for this project. Being able to bring together different creatives from various disciplines and genres has been the most rewarding part.”
The Trolls World Tour soundtrack will also include appearances from Anderson .Paak, Mary J. Blige, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and Ester Dean, to name a few.
Trolls World Tour hits theaters on April 17.
