Inspirational singer Jonathan McReynolds joins forces with Mali Music for his new single “Movin’ On.”
The triumphant track finds the two vocalists “closing chapters” and “turning pages,” as they enter the next stage of their life.
“I’m getting older / So I’ll keep it straight / It hurts to let go, but it / Hurts more to stay,” McReynolds sings.
Speaking on his new single, McReynolds tells Rated R&B, “I needed a soundtrack on getting free, moving on and getting over. Thankful my bro helped me sing through it.”
“Movin’ On” is lifted from McReynold’s upcoming album, People, which arrives on April 24 via Entertainment One.
In other news, McReynolds has been using his platform to support those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. His nonprofit Elihu Nation donated $300 per day last week to fans that answered fun trivia questions.
