The nominations for the 2020 BET Awards have been announced. Chris Brown leads the pack with four nods, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year and Viewer’s Choice Award for “No Guidance” featuring Drake.
Beyoncé, H.E.R. and Lizzo tie for three nominations each and are all up for the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year categories.
Danileigh receives her first BET Awards nomination for Best New Artist.
Performers for the awards have also been announced, including Alicia Keys, Chloe x Halle, Lonr. and Masego.
To celebrate 20 years of the BET Awards, the ceremony will be simulcast live on ViacomCBS networks such as BET and BET Her. The awards will be making its debut to national television, airing on CBS as well.
Hosted by actress Amanda Seales (Insecure), the 20th BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 28 at 8 p.m. EST.
