Self-proclaimed R&B rockstar PJ has released her latest project, Waiting For Paris, through Atlantic Records. The six-track release is her first project since 2016’s Rare.
The focal point of this balanced EP is the singer-songwriter depending solely on herself for love and trust after constant letdowns. Introspective songs like the fraudulent “Counterfeit” and the blunt “I’m Forreal” featuring rapper Lute are examples of her reaffirming her independence as a woman in an industry full of vultures and clout chasers.
Another EP highlight is “Y’Oh” featuring Symba which questions the intentions of a man who plays mind games.
