H.E.R. continues to spread awareness with her latest video for “I Can’t Breathe.”
Directed and edited by Shane Adams, the video features footage of the protests happening around the world. Using clips from publications like the L.A. Times and a few filmmakers, “I Can’t Breathe” is a short view into the social unrest that has spread globally.
Midway into the video, the names of the numerous Black lives that have been slain over the years fill the screen.
The talented artist isn’t shy in how she utilizes her platform, as her last video “I’m Not OK” shares a similarly somber feel and message.
All proceeds will be donated to the Black Lives Matter organization.
