Queen Naija has dropped off a visual for her latest single “Pack Lite.”
Directed by Teyana Taylor (AKA Spike Tey), the ’60s-inspired clip portrays Naija as a housewife who is an aspiring singer. Naija believes her husband isn’t being faithful, as he is always “working late” and was spotted mingling with a mysterious woman. Things get even more dramatic when he says he’s not available to attend her live performance. You’ll have to watch to see how everything plays out at the end.
“This project was so much fun!!!! Great moments & great energy with amazing people,” Taylor wrote on Instagram.
“Pack Lite,” which samples and interpolates Erykah Badu’s classic “Bag Lady,” will appear on Naija’s forthcoming debut album, which will release on Capitol Music Group. The project is the follow-up to Naija’s self-titled EP that released in 2018.
