Fresh off the release of her latest album ALICIA, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Alicia Keys delivers a video for “Love Looks Better.”
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball, Beyond the Lights), the video takes place in Keys’ home state of New York. The video opens with Keys being escorted out of a retail store with her entourage, when she notices a little Black girl with her fist raised through a sunroof. Moved by this image, Keys eventually strips away her glamorous outfit in exchange for a more casual look. She eventually catches up with the girl, where they end up vibing to the feel-good song.
After a slight delay from the pandemic, ALICIA was finally released on September 18. The album features appearances from Jill Scott, Khalid, Miguel, Snoh Aalegra, Sampha, Tierra Whack and Diamond Platnumz.
