Kelly Rowland is walking down the aisle — in a new Lifetime holiday movie. The music superstar revealed a promotional shot on social media platforms of Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding, a sequel to last year’s Merry Liddle Christmas. The film is set to premiere on November 28 at 8 p.m. EST, as part of the network’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie run.
Starring Rowland (Jacquie) and Thomas Cardot (Tyler), Merry Liddle Christmas follows the couple as they attempt to plan the ultimate destination wedding amid family chaos and wedding planner drama.
Rowland will serve as executive producer for Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding. She held an EP title for the 2019 film as well.
Rowland teased that she is eager to share the soon-to-be-released trailer of the film soon.
In other movie-related news, Rowland is set to star in the Hulu original movie Bad Hair. The horror satire, which will premiere on October 23, co-stars Usher, Vanessa Willams, Lena Waithe, Laverne Cox, Blair Underwood, and MC Lyte.
In April, Rowland dropped the brewing single “Coffee.”
