Andrea Martin is back. The acclaimed singer-songwriter — who is responsible for penning hits for Melanie Fiona, En Vogue, and Monica — has returned with a new song titled “Waterless.”
The visual lyrics tell a lover’s story after the demise of a relationship that once offered them comfort. While tears were quick to fall for her ex in the past, she’s no longer succumbed to the weeping spirit.
“Waterless” has yet to be attached to a future project. She previously released her debut album, The Best of Me, in 1998.
In 2016, she dropped two reggae-inspired tracks, including “Someone Loves You Honey” and “Stealing Love.”
