Justine Skye has a keen interest in Homeland Security on her new heart breached single titled “Intruded.”
The Timbaland-produced track is rolled out with an edgy short film centered around the invasion of a returned lover’s privacy. Nina Holmgren directed it. Watch it above.
In hooking up with Timbaland for “Intruded,” it was only befitting for Skye to take a cue from his illustrious production catalog. Here, she gives a nod to Ginuwine’s hit single “So Anxious” in the opening line.
She moves into the record’s true premise, which is geared towards always finding her way back to the heart of a must-have admirer, no matter the circumstances.
Skye’s glossy, angelic tone above the crystalline guitar and bass palette makes “Intruded” a song listeners will have no issues letting crack repeat codes on streaming platforms.
Skye released Bare With Me (The Album), an expanded edition of her 2019 EP of a similar name, in June 2020. Included on the 10-song project were “No Options” and “Million Days.” She released videos for both standout tracks.
