On Tuesday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show, Dawn Richard made her debut appearance. During her inaugural visit, the New Orleans native served as the musical guest and performed “Boomerang” from her latest album, Second Line.
Backed by a line of fierce Black dancers, Richard, rocking a lengthy and fitting ponytail spelling out “boom” and shimmery outfit, pushing the electronic envelope for the in-person audience and at-home viewers.
Following the performance, Richard gave Williams a brief interview about the new album, her current relationship with Aubrey O’Day (of Danity Kane) and Sean “Love” Combs, and more.
Second Line was released back in April and served as the follow-up to 2019’s New Breed. Featured on the LP are pre-shared tracks “Bussifame” and “Jacuzzi.”
