Serpentwithfeet has shared a music video for “Heart Storm,” the Nao-assisted duet and standout from his most recent album, Deacon.
The Baltimore-born artist begins the simplistic clip, posing barefoot in a pink outfit in meditation and other pondering positions on a platform and floor level. Nao joins the frame in a solo shot, illustrating her verse through an expressive style of dance.
Serpentwithfeet has been in his cover bag lately. He recently released a remake of Labi Siffre’s “Bless the Telephone” for Amazon Music’s relaunched PROUD playlist. Prior to that, he covered Lesley Gore’s 1963 classic “You Don’t Own Me” for Orbitz’s “Travel As You Are” campaign.
Additionally, Serpenwithfeet’s new original song “FYI” can be heard on season two of Hulu’s Love, Victor.
Deacon, Serpentwithfeet’s follow-up to 2018’s Soil, includes the early tracks “Same Size Shoe” and “Fellowship” featuring Sampha and Lil Silva.
At the top of 2021, Nao debuted “Antidote” featuring Adekunle Gold.
