TJ Jackson has shared his third new single of 2021. On the new R&B dance track, titled “A Night To Remember,” the singer is in total bliss that he’s finally found someone who completes him, hoping not to forget this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
“I can’t believe it / I’ve only dreamed it / i never thought that I would meet someone quite like you / And now you got me / I swear you have me / It took one look and there was nothing that I could do,” Jackson sings.
Jackson stated on Instagram that he found inspiration for the song’s backbeat from “Billie Jean,” the multi-platinum hit single performed by his uncle and global icon Michael Jackson. He said he had drummer Wes Little recreate the sample to get a fresh perspective.
The single’s artwork also pays homage to Michael Jackson’s HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album cover.
“A Night To Remember” is taken from Jackson’s upcoming MMM project, due sometime later this year. Recent singles “Secret” and “Dream Girl” are set to appear on the record.
