Rated R&B’s Front + Center artist Sinéad Harnett is bad and bougie in her “Distraction” video, directed by Ana Tanaka.
Harnett is dripping in expensive taste in the low-grade clip from centerfold fashion to the finest things to occupy her mind.
Speaking on the track, Harnett said, “‘Distraction’ is sassy af, with an empowering nod to the people who are tired of trying to keep their partner’s attention. It’s playful and fun, but with an underlying vulnerability.”
“Distraction” is lifted from Harnett’s debut album Ready Is Always Too Late, which arrived earlier this spring. She followed with an Apple Music exclusive Home Session EP, featuring at-home renditions of album cuts and a Coldplay remake.
In July, Harnett appeared on the Femme It Forward-fronted Big Femme Energy, Vol. 1 project.
