Candiace, a mainstay on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac, warmed the seat of her newly minted music career late this summer with her debut album, Deep Space. She keeps the tunes coming with the new song “Benefits, Pt. II,” a sequel to a cut from her first LP.
The rising singer/reality star added Q.Parker of 112 to the revamped version, keeping the essence of the original. Candiace sings about being with a man who wants all the relationship qualities without an official title.
While she wants no parts of this potentially disastrous situation, Q. Parker steps to the mic and attempts to clear up any confusion regarding this arrangement.
“You don’t want a relationship / You just want the benefit / Can’t make a decision / Want perks, no commitment,” she sings. “You don’t want a relationship / You just want the privilege / Yeah, you can be dismissed / Can’t put up wit’ yo sh*t.”
Candiace rolled out a simplistic music video to coincide with the song she will promote on a scheduled appearance on The Real on October 28. Watch it below.
Deep Space was released in September 2021. It included the focus track “Drive Back,” which has an accompanying video.
