Seeing Kevin Ross in concert is an experience. The singer-songwriter is currently on the road playing shows to build buzz around his upcoming project Drive 2, which arrives October 29 via Art Society Music Group / EMPIRE. Ross looks to persuade his new and existing fans on an evening of quality R&B with the live performance of “Looking For Love.”
Styled in a lightweight, two-piece burgundy suit, Ross serenades the camera with expressive vocals that pierce the heart and an incredible band that amplifies him in all the best ways imaginable.
“I’ve always found live performances to be the most fun because you get the honest reaction from the audience. I missed that,” Ross tells Rated R&B about the love of getting out on stage again.
“Now that I’m back on the road, my desire to connect with people has raised tremendously. I tell my audience, ‘I’m not here to entertain… I’m here to engage.’”
This single from Ross’ forthcoming project and the follow-up to last year’s Audacity is on the cusp of entering the top ten of radio and Billboard R&B charts. His latest song, “Sweet Release,” instantly available for download at pre-save/pre-order, is another contender for R&B radio embrace.
