Nija’s “On Call” is one of those songs that hits you right away.
Produced by Ambezza and Larkin Noir, the track is nailed with heavy-hitting 808 and hi-hats galore. Nija sings about having late-night rendezvous with a man she isn’t interested in unless under the influence of alcohol. Nija knows she is wrong for leading him on, but she also knows he’s guaranteed to come through when she calls.
“On Call” is another sneak peek of her forthcoming fall release. She released “Finesse” back in October. Before that, in August, she released her acclaimed debut song “Ease My Mind (Come Over)” and its accompanying video.
Outside of this release, Nija co-wrote two songs (“Ex For A Reason” and “Throw It Away”) on Summer Walker’s sophomore album Still Over It.
