Before Khalid’s Scenic Drive EP arrives this Friday (Dec. 3), the R&B sensation and his pals pose for the camera in his video for “Present.”
The Scheme E-directed video commences with Khalid as a centerpiece amongst a group of on-screen friends acting as mannequins in an artsy setting. They soon become mobile, feeding off the incredible energy radiating from Khalid, dressed in a semi-floral getup.
Khalid cranks out some dance moves with an all-male crew before the ladies get in sync for a zestful routine.
“I had so much fun during this shoot stepping out of my comfort zone. I wanna thank everyone who made this video possible. Hopefully we get some more dancing from [me] in the future,” Khalid wrote on Instagram.

“Present” is the first offering from Scenic Drive. The forthcoming tape is feature-heavy, finding him collaborating with artists like Alicia Keys, Ari Lennox, 6LACK, and Lucky Daye, to name a few.
Of the EP, Khalid shared on Instagram, “I’m always nervous to release new music but can honestly say this is a project I’ll hold close to my heart forever. I wanna thank everyone from the producers to the features for bringing this to life!”
Apart from his EP, Khalid is featured on Mariah Carey’s latest festive tune, “Fall in Love at Christmas,” with Kirk Franklin.
