Any artist that can pen a song that touches all parts of the universe has a bright future ahead of them. Emerging UK singer Mychelle is part of this group, writing a letter to her “Younger Self” in her latest song.
A unique production not confined to a specific genre, “Younger Self” mixes soulful aspects to appeal to all audiences.
Mychelle uses her adoring voice and help from an acoustic guitar to offer the ingenue version of herself advice on protecting her heart against the dangers of romance.
The slow build of the song’s production gets better through its duration, adding drumming and violins for a beautiful finish.

Mychelle stirred up a flurry in the indie soul circuit in May 2021, where she released her debut EP Closure. The set featured her debut single “The Way.”
