Jordan Occasionally has returned for the second time this year with a new song titled “If You Want My Love.” It was produced by Noah Andreas Ploderer (also known as inoahcreation).

A hypnotic jazz-fusion of R&B supports the feeling of genuine desirability and loving the inner essence of particular interest, good, bad and indifferent.

The minimal beauty of Occasionally’s warm vocal gets its best help from the choir-inspired background, which takes almost blatant pages from the songbooks of Mary J. Blige and Brownstone.

“Baby, I ain’t too hard to please / There’s only a few rules to keep me / No, you ain’t gotta get down on one knee / I’m not in it for the long haul if you can’t appease me,” Occasionally sings.

About “If You Want My Love,” Occasionally shared in a statement, “This song is all about self-acceptance, self-love, and refusing to settle for less than what you deserve.”

“If You ant My Love” comes behind Occasionally’s track “Lie Lie Lie,” on which inoahcreation co-wrote and is featured. The duo has collaborated together in the past, including Occasionally’s 2021 project Indigo.

Outside of music, Occasionally is active in their community, spotlighting protest and activism for the death of Breonna Taylor and the All Black Lives movement.
