Jawan x Tiffany are back. The R&B duo, composed of Tiffany Evans and Jawan Harris, have returned with “Patience.” The new single follows last year’s “To Myself,” which marked the second single as a collective.
Beginning with melodic piano notes, “Patience” leads to Jawan’s passionate voice floating atop a tender arrangement produced by Jaydot. With Tiffany’s sweet vocal, the duo sing about two distant lovers exchanging a steamy cyber moment.
Jawan x Tiffany desires the power of restraint to supersede until they can share another romantic liaison.
“Can I lick it through the screen (Screen) / I just wanna get right up in between (Yeah) / FaceTime ring light on so that I can see / Girl, I’m bout to book myself a flight / Want more than one night, ooh,” sings an anxious Jawan on song’s onset.
Tiffany beautifully responds, “All we ever need is space and time / Boy, whatever you need I can provide / Just leave it up to me, I’ll get you right (oh) / Til you get here I’m waiting / Keep the vibes on your playlist.”
In a joint statement, Jawan x Tiffany shared how the idea of the song came to life.
“We wrote ‘Patience’ in the middle of the pandemic. We wanted to make a love song that was inspired by the feeling you get when you can’t wait to be with someone again.”
They continued, “It’s about that whole experience of building excitement and anticipation for one another, but also hoping that the one you want has enough ‘Patience’ to wait and keep their focus on you.”
“Patience” is Jawan x Tiffany’s first official single of the year. Prior to that, as mentioned above, the duo released their sophomore track “To Myself” in July 2021.

That single came less than a year behind their debut track, “Finally.” Sean Bankhead directed the official video for the latter track. Fans were also gifted a live performance for their introduction tune in late 2021.
All three songs are expected to appear on Jawan x Tiffany’s forthcoming debut project.
Besides their material, Jawan x Tiffany showed off their chops with a remix of Wizkid and Tems’ smash single “Essence.”
