After much anticipation, James Fauntleroy has released his solo debut album, The Warmest Winter Ever.

The 25-track offering is filled with holiday tunes, including songs lifted from 2014’s Warmest Winter Ever and 2016’s Warmest Winter Ever II, which were previously only available on SoundCloud.

“This project delves into the enchanting world of Christmas, and many aspects of this holiday, from embodying Santa Claus to becoming Santa’s helper,” Fauntleroy explains.

He continues, “It presents a fresh perspective on holiday music. The Warmest Winter Ever is a collection of songs released from 2014 up until now, exploring themes of romance and Christmas across 25 tracks that are sure to get you in the mood.”

The Warmest Winter Ever is the follow-up to Fauntleroy’s collab project with musician and producer Terrace Martin, Nova. The EP, released in August, is up for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 66th Grammy Awards.

“I never thought I would be nominated for a Grammy as an artist,” Fauntleroy wrote in an Instagram caption. “Can you fn believe it?! Is it time?! AND it’s with my day 1 @terracemartin! Seriously, wtf?! Vote for me guys and also, this was my first officially released project! First shit Grammy nominated LFG! Also, listen to the album lol.”

Fauntleroy is no stranger to the Grammys. The seasoned singer-songwriter has won four out of his seven Grammy nominations, including for Justin Timberlake’s “Pusher Lover Girl” (Best R&B Song) and Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic (Album of the Year).

Fauntleroy won additional trophies for Mars’ hit “That’s What I Like,” which he co-wrote, including Song of the Year and Best R&B Song at the 60th Grammy Awards.
