Vedo has released his new song “Pull Over” to kick off the new year.
The steamy track was produced by Bridge (Mary J. Blige, Raiche, K. Michelle) and John Scherer (Arin Ray, Trey Songz, Baby Rose).
On the sensual tune, Vedo feels aroused in the car with his wife and requests a pitstop to act on his desires.
“We might get a ticket in this double R / Right now, it’s f*k the law / ‘Cause I’m trying to take that off / I got more than enough room to do your body good,” he smoothly suggests.
“Pull Over” is Vedo’s first release of 2024 and follows his late December track “No Worries,” featuring Rotimi.
Before the aforementioned tracks, Vedo shared a handful of Vmixes of popular songs he remixed, such as “Good Good” by Usher and “Snooze” by SZA.
Vedo also released his second album of the year, 7, in October.
The 15-track effort includes the previously shared “International” and “Split.” It also includes a feature from inspirational hip-hop artist Lecrae.
Vedo was asked by Rated R&B what he hopes fans take away from his album 7. “I want them to listen to this album and feel a sense of fullness, love and urgency,” he shared.
He continued, “I want people to get back connected with what matters. It ain’t gotta necessarily be God; it can be whatever. It can be family, friends, or whatever you feel like you need. Your purpose in life is to get back connected with it because we got one life and we gotta live it.”
Vedo’s first album of 2023, Mood Swings, was released in January. It was later included in Rated R&B’s list of the 25 best R&B albums of the year, coming in at No. 25.
“On Mood Swings, the first of the two, the singer/songwriter threads together songs that put emphasis on the album title,” wrote Rated R&B’s Antwane Folk.
