BET Awards 2024 Nominees Announced: Beyoncé, Usher, Victoria Monét and More

The ceremony airs live Sunday, June 30, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.

BET has unveiled the nominees for the 2024 BET Awards. The star-studded ceremony airs live Sunday, June 30, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.

Rap star Drake leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Nicki Minaj with six nods. SZA and Victoria Monét hold it down for R&B with five nominations each, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.

Following behind them, with four nods, are Beyoncé, Usher, and Tyla, among others.

Chris Brown, who’s gearing up to launch his 11:11 Tour, has landed three nominations, including Album of the Year.

According to BET, “Nominations were selected by the BET Voting Academy, which is comprised of an esteemed group of entertainment professionals and influencers in the fields of music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, and creative arts.”

The first round of performers has also been revealed. Among the R&B acts, Victoria Monét and Muni Long will grace the BET Awards stage. Other performers include rappers GloRilla and Latto, and budding country star Shaboozey, who appears on Beyoncé’s latest album, Cowboy Carter.
