R&B trio FLO is back with their new single, “Caught Up,” produced by Pop Wansel, MNEK, and Jay Versace.
On the track, which includes a writing credit from Sevyn Streeter, FLO throws down the gauntlet, making it very clear that they aren’t tolerating anyone who even considers creeping around.
“You say you don’t know that girl / So boy, I’ll take your word / Hope she don’t get you caught up,” they sing in the chorus.
Speaking on “Caught Up,” FLO states, “It’s very simple; we are not going to lose ourselves going crazy over a guy; if you get caught up, it’s a simple bye-bye. We know our worth and ‘Caught up’ is a friendly reminder that we are not to be played with.”
“Caught Up” arrives with a desert-themed video directed by Ganna Bogdan, which can be watched below.
“Caught Up” is the follow-up to “Walk Like This,” released in April. “The song is about that energy you have when you embrace your sensuality and womanhood,” FLO explained about “Walk Like This.”
“It’s okay to admit a man’s doing well from time to time! We hope it makes you feel confident, a bit naughty and adds that extra sway to your walk.”
Both songs are expected to appear on FLO’s debut album, which does not have a release date or title yet.
In an interview with Nyla Symone, FLO confirmed their debut album is coming soon. The project will include additional songwriting and production by Theron Thomas, Camper, DIXSON, Yacob, Tayla Parx, and more.
