Lucky Daye stopped by adidas Originals‘ Sound Session for a live performance of his new single “HERicane.”
The Grammy winner, rocking an adidas tracksuit, was joined by a bassist who wore a classic adidas hoodie and matching pants. The two delivered an enjoyable rendition of the D’Mile-produced track.
“Ain’t nothing like the energy of live music and being up close with the fans. Big ups to @adidasoriginals for letting me rock the mic with me new single ‘HERicane,'” Daye posted on Instagram Stories.
“HERicane” is the second single from Daye’s third album, Algorithm, out in June via Keep Cool/RCA Records.

“This song is about being grounded in a chaotic relationship. It’s important for people to be reminded that it’s a good time to be yourself and shine. Just be grounded and fierce in who you are,” explained Daye.
“HERicane” follows his Bruno Mars and D’Mile-produced lead, “That’s You,” released last November.
On July 11, Daye will kick off The Algorithm Tour in San Francisco. The summer trek, with support from Fana Hues, will make stops in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia and more, before concluding Aug. 28 in Los Angeles.
