Trevor Jackson isn’t holding back with treating his fans to new music. Two months after releasing his Heads Up EP, the multitalented sensation has returned with his new project, He Don’t Know.
The five-track offering includes the Afrobeat-tinged title track and lead single, “He Don’t Know,” plus a feature from Haben. The project picks up where Heads Up leaves off as Jackson dives deeper into love’s complexities.
Jackson tells Rated R&B, “He Don’t Know is really part two of the story I started to tell through my first EP. Not everything is black-and-white; relationships are complicated. A lot of the time people forget men end up being the guy on the side too.”
As indicated above, He Don’t Know is the follow-up to Trevor Jackson’s EP, Heads Up, released in March.
“Typically, a heads-up is a warning, a call out, and a gesture to let people know that something is coming,” Jackson told Rated R&B. “Heads Up, the EP, is just the beginning, and I want people to know that these four R&B classics I just released are a beautiful introduction of what’s to come. You know, it’s complicated.”
In other music news, Jackson appears on legendary rapper Ghostface Killah’s latest album, Set The Tone (Guns & Roses). Jackson is featured on “Bad B*tch” with Ja Rule.
