Ne-Yo has released his new single “Show Me” via his independent label, Compound Entertainment.
On the Camper-produced track, Ne-Yo sings about meeting a woman at a club, where they enjoy each other’s company on the dance floor and later make a deeper connection in the bedroom.
He sings, “I knew from the way that you chose to throw it / Back at me like that / Biting your bottom lip, eye contact / I knew you was ready / So now that we’rе here, can you show me morе / Of what you was doing to me on the floor? / Grinding like you do / But can you do it with me inside you?”
“Show Me” arrives with a video co-directed by Abo Raj and Desmond Dakura. Filmed in Bangkok, the video shows Ne-Yo visiting a tailor shop for a fitting, where he meets a sales associate (played by Nichakran Nabumrung) who is enamored by him. The bulk of the video is from her perspective, as she fantasizes about the two going on different dates and being wrapped in each other’s arms.
“Show Me” is Ne-Yo’s second single of 2024, following “2 Million Secrets” released in June. The latter marked his first independently released single.
“It’s a blessing to be in this position to control my own destiny as an independent artist,” said Ne-Yo. “My artistry means everything to me and I’m excited to embrace this new beginning with ‘2 Million Secrets.’ It’s a personal song that took growth to write, but I’m proud to share it with the world.”
Ne-Yo, who earned his first RIAA diamond award earlier this year, will join Mary J. Blige on her For My Fans Tour, which launches Jan. 30, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Fellow R&B crooner Mario will also join them on the road as they travel across North America, hitting major cities like Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Baltimore and more.
The tour concludes April 17 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Tickets are on sale now.
