Ne-Yo has achieved a new milestone with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Pitbull’s 2011 single “Give Me Everything,” on which he is featured with Afrojack and Nayer, has been certified diamond, with over 10 million equivalent units sold.
The Afrojack-produced hit reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July 2011, becoming Ne-Yo’s second chart-topper.
The EDM banger, lifted from Pitbull’s album Planet Pit, has over 1.15 billion streams on Spotify. The official music video has over 1.13 billion views on YouTube.
“Give Me Everything” isn’t Pitbull and Ne-Yo’s only RIAA certification together.
In 2022, their feel-good anthem “Time of Our Lives” was certified 5x platinum (five million units sold) and “Me Quedaré Contigo,” which also features Lenier and El Micha,” was certified 2x Latin platinum.
On Friday (June 7), Ne-Yo will reunite with Pitbull and Afrojack for their new single “2 the Moon.” It marks the trio’s first collaboration since “Give Me Everything.”
In other news, Ne-Yo is set to launch the UK/European leg of his Champagne and Roses Tour on June 12 in Cork, Ireland, and will conclude on June 29 in Stockholm, Sweden.
In August, the Grammy winner will headline a three-night residency, dubbed Ne-Yo: Human Love Rebellion, at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.
