R&B newcomer Jastin Martin has joined forces with legendary producer Timbaland for her new single “You or Nobody.”
Produced by Timbo himself, “You or Nobody” brings Martin’s angelic vocals over his signature trunk-rattling beat, with his iconic ad-libs sprinkled throughout.
Lyrically, the song finds Martin grappling with moving on from an ex. Even when she tries dating, she is left unsatisfied and longs for her former boo.
“Tried, to move on but I / Can’t find what I like / In nobody / Might call you tonight / It been some time / So don’t fight it / I hate that they can’t take your place / Can’t come my way,” she sings.

Speaking on “You or Nobody,” Martin tells Rated R&B, “Having a legend like Timbaland reach out and tell me he had a song he could only hear me on was a surreal experience, especially because it’s a product of something I was told would never happen. What’s for you will find you always.”
“You or Nobody” is Martin’s second song of 2025, following her piano ballad “28 Degrees In Houston.”
In 2024, the Houston native released Miss Me Yet…Now? (Deluxe), an expanded version of her debut album. The 16-track project featured new collaborations with R&B crooners Raheem DeVaughn, Eric Bellinger, and Sammie.
“I’m a huge fan of Eric [Bellinger]. He’s always shown love and support,” Martin told Rated R&B. “As far as Sammie and Raheem DeVaughn, I grew up listening to them, so it’s kind of crazy…Both Raheem and Sammie hit me up on their own just giving me my flowers. I think it’s just so crazy, in a full circle way, that they were willing to work with me and were excited to get on the songs.”
