Finding a new love can feel like a breath of fresh air. RealestK‘s new single, “Breathe,” captures that sigh of relief when you finally connect with the right one.
“Baby your heart is mine/ Breathe in, breathe out for me baby,” he passionately sings on the Los Hendrix and NEZ production.
Speaking on his heartwarming song, RealestK explains, “‘Breathe’ is that situation where you really like somebody off the riff of being with them and everything seems like it’s going well.”
He continues, “There’s a certain connection with someone you really care about which progresses into, ‘I can’t breathe without you now. I see you in my imagination, my fantasy, my reality, and every life and form. The way I breathe and my heartbeat are because of what you’re doing to me. You’re the reason that I am breathing. Trust that I won’t put my insecurities onto you.'”

“Breathe” follows the Canadian singer’s piano ballad “Deja Vu,” released in late February. In 2024, the alt-R&B singer dropped three other singles via Standard Records/ADA Worldwide: “Let Me Go,” “Selfie” and “All You.”
RealestK’s last project, Real World, was released in 2023 via Columbia Records. The eight-track set included the singles “It’s You” featuring BIA, “Better,” “Stranger” and “You & I.”
“Real World was strictly me shutting out everything and being with myself,” RealestK told Rated R&B. “Real World was not a project or a process where I was necessarily happy at all. Each studio session, I was upset. I was sad. There [were] some studio sessions where I did half a song, and I left. I just went through a lot. I had family members that passed away.”
