“Love Me Not” debuted on the Hot 100 in early April at No. 81, becoming her first entry on the chart. It reached the top 40 in its 10th week on the chart in June.
At top 40 radio, “Love Me Not” is No. 4 with 11,975 spins during the latest tracking week — an increase of 1,222— earning 29.88 million audience impressions. Meanwhile, at rhythmic radio, it’s at No. 9 with 5.1 million audience impressions.
“Love Me Not” was released May 3, 2024, with the B-side “Love Is Blind.” The former track was the lead single from Lenae’s sophomore album, Bird’s Eye, released Aug. 9 via Atlantic Records.

“Bird’s Eye signifies returning to a place of self-trust and unbending intuition while acknowledging the paths and turns I’ve taken to get here,” Lenae explained. “Revisiting the most basic parts of my identity has allowed me to fully embrace them and be proud of where I’m going.”
On Oct. 8, Lenae followed up with a remix of “Love Me Not” with Rex Orange County. “‘Love Me Not’ is one of my favourites off the project, and I knew while making it that I wanted to hear another voice on it,” Lanae told Sniffers Magazine.
She continued, “I love a kind of call-and-response duet in a song — like a finger-pointing duet feel, which I initially wanted for the track — and that’s what Rex’s verse added to it. When he sent the verse back to me, I literally had no notes. He was so scared about it, saying how he didn’t want to ruin the song if his verse didn’t feel right, but to me, it was perfect.”
In November, Renae will join pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter on her Short n Sweet Tour. Lenae will perform at both Toronto shows and six shows in Los Angeles. Get tickets at ravynlenae.com.
