Rising R&B singer Isaia Huron has inked a deal with RCA Records in partnership with Slang Music.

The Greenville, South Carolina, native joins a roster that includes Chris Brown, Jazmine Sullivan, Victoria Monét, Bryson Tiller and Miguel.

Along with the announcement of his new label home, Huron has released his new single “W.T.A.”

On the self-written and produced track, which stands for “Way Too Attached,” Huron finds himself entangled in love’s web far sooner than he intended. “I think we skipped some steps, got way too attached / I think we went a little too fast,” he sings.

“W.T.A.” is the lead single from Huron’s sophomore album, Mr. Lovebomb, dropping later this year. It will follow his captivating debut, CONCUBANIA, released in August 2025.

The concept album, written and produced by Huron, runs like a three-act play. In an interview with Rated R&B, Huron explained, “I look at this as not a stage play, but a chronological story that is able to communicate all the things I feel in dealing with a breakup, falling in love, or being reckless and not really thinking much about your actions and consequences.”

In the same interview, Huron talked about collaborating with Kehlani on their duet “See Right Through Me.” “When we were in Hawaii working on her album, I was walking into the kitchen, and she was like, ‘I had a dream I was on your album. You need to put me on your album,” Huron told Rated R&B. “And I did just that because I wasn’t expecting that. I was like, ‘Well, thank you. That would help a lot.’ I think it speaks to how close me and her are.”

Huron also worked on Kehlani’s “un(Folded),” the acapella version of her Grammy-winning hit “Folded.” “She was working on it, called me and said, ‘Do your little weird sh*t you do at the end of these covers you do.’ She had me singing backgrounds throughout the record, and it turned out to be really nice,” he said.
