Mariah Carey reveals more details about her upcoming studio album. Carey, who has already recruited Jermaine Durpi and Brian Michael Cox, told Billboard more producers she’s working with: Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, and Rodney Jerkins.

Carey certainly isn’t in a hurry to throw the album together and release it. “I could say, ‘Let’s stop now.’ But that’s not who I am, and that’s not what I want this record to be,” she told Billboard. “I really want the fans to love this record.”
For fans who are wondering what to expect on the album, there will be a lot of ballads, some uptempo tracks and Mariah’s signature-type songs. There is not a title or release date for Mariah’s highly awaited album, as of yet. However, we trust Mariah’s judgment and will continue to wait as she cook up another classic album.
Last year, she released a promo single titled “Triumphant” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. There is no telling if Mariah will include this track on her new album or not.
