After leaving fans with Comfort & Joy last holiday season, Tinashe returns with her new single “Pasadena” featuring rapper Buddy. The breezy tune was produced by Oliver Malcolm.
“I got a vision of a perfect night / But every day I end up goin’ through the motions / I wasn’t build for the simple life In Pasadena singin’, ‘Tu, tu-du-du, du,'” Tinashe sings in the first verse.
Buddy comes in on the second verse with, “Never been the type that wanna be right, I wanna live life / Some say I’m psycho but this shit here go in cycles.”
“Pasadena” is the first offering from Tinashe’s upcoming project. It will serve as her first non-holiday project since 2019’s Songs For You.
