As the release date of Mariah Carey’s highly awaited album approaches, more details are being revealed. Carey’s longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri recently confirmed the news.
“Mariah Carey, July 23: The Art of Letting Go. The new album will be available for all the lambs on July 23,” Durpi tweeted on Monday night.
“The Art of Letting Go” will include Carey’s new hit single “#Beautiful,” which was co-penned by and features Miguel. The album serves as the follow-up to Carey’s 2009 release, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
