After giving birth to her first child, Logan, Tamar Braxton is back in artist mode. On Monday night (July 29), she held an intimate showcase at the Emerson Theater in Los Angeles for her forthcoming album “Love and War.”
The “You Tried It” starlet had nothing but love in the building to hear her four-song set. The guest list included her loyal ‘Tamartians,’ her record label Epic, Kevin McCall, and “The Real” co-hosts Adrienne Bailon and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
The youngest Braxton brought her A-game in fashion, dressed in a sparkling black top and thigh-high boots and kicked off the showcase with her latest single”The One” with four-sexy dancers. After performing her album’s title track, she debuted a new ballad. She closed out the showcase with her club jam “Hot Sugar.”
Tamar showed her appreciation to everyone who supported the showcase. “Thanks to all my #tamartian friends for coming! Love you xo,” tweeted Tamar. The performances were taped for an upcoming episode of WE tv’s “Tamar & Vince.”
“Love and War” will be released on Sept. 3 via Streamline/Epic Records. Fans can expect a new single and the accompanying video next month. To promote “Love and War” she will join forces with John Legend for the “Made to Love” tour beginning Oct. 20.
