Syleena Johnson calls up her mother Brenda Thompson for a heartfelt song titled “My Heart Is Open.” The song came to life on “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” when the two were tasked to pen a song about their relationship.
“It’s the hardest and one of the most revealing songs I have EVER written, but a much needed release,” said Syleena Johnson via Facebook. “Thank you God. I truly love my family. Your heart must be open to heal.”
