R&B legend Keith Sweat has announced the dates for The Sweat Hotel Tour.
The U.S. tour kicks off Aug. 23 at Bob Hope Theatre in Stockton, California. Sweat will make additional stops in Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Chicago, Atlanta, and more. The first leg will conclude Oct. 6 at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore.
According to Sweat, every show will have a special guest, and more dates will be announced soon.
Presale tickets will be available Thursday, June 20, at 10 a.m. local time using the presale code: SWEAT. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. local time.
It’s no doubt that Sweat will delight audiences with his classics and fan-favorites from his extensive catalog. He may also include his new single, “Lay You Down,” in his set. The bedroom jam is currently No. 3 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. The song, released on Valentine’s Day, is Sweat’s 16th top 10 hit on that chart.
“Lay You Down” is the follow-up to Sweat’s 2021 single, “Can’t Nobody,” featuring Raheem DeVaughn. “At this stage of my career, I make music that move me to say something. I am not interested in releasing music for the sake of statistics,” Sweat said about “Can’t Nobody.”
He added, “I really became a fan of Raheem last year when we worked together and wanted to do a song with him. This is the result of that collaboration.”
