Bruno Mars’ ‘I Just Might’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

It's his 10th chart-topper

Bruno Mars has another hit under his belt. His single “I Just Might” claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Jan. 24.

According to Billboard, in its opening week, “I Just Might” amassed 23.5 million streams and 32.6 million radio audience airplay impressions in the U.S., while selling 13,000 units.

With his new chart-topper, Mars now has 10 No. 1s on the Hot 100. It’s worth noting it’s Mars’ first No. 1 debut on the popular singles chart. Per Billboard, Mars is one of four solo male acts with 10 or more No. 1s on the Hot 100, alongside Michael Jackson, Drake and Stevie Wonder. The former two have 13, while Wonder has 10.

  • “Nothin’ On You,” B.O.B. featuring Bruno Mars, two weeks at No. 1 (2010)
  • “Just The Way You Are,” four weeks at No. 1 (2010)

  • “Locked Out of Heaven,” six weeks at No. 1 (2012)
  • “Uptown Funk!” Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, 14 weeks at No. 1 (2015)
  • “That’s What I Like,” one week at No. 1 (2017)
  • “Leave The Door Open,” Silk Sonic – Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak, two weeks at No. 1 (2021)
  • “Die With a Smile,” Lady Gaga with Bruno Mars, five weeks at No. 1 (2025)
  • “I Just Might,” one week at No. 1 so far (2026)

Produced by Mars and D’Mile, “I Just Might” was released Jan. 9. It’s the lead single from Mars’ fourth solo album, The Romantic, out Feb. 27 via Atlantic Records. The upcoming set is Mars’ first album since 2016’s 24K Magic. 

Mars will support his new album on his massive Romantic Tour, where he will play 70 shows across North America, Europe and the U.K. with support from Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee. R&B’s newest stars Leon Thomas, RAYE and Victoria Monét will join Mars in select cities.
