Mary J.Blige has a lot on her plate this fall. She released her first-ever Christmas album “A Mary Christmas” and stars in the upcoming film “Black Nativity.” While recording her concert special with HSN for her new album this week, she promoted her role as Platinum Fro in “Black Nativity.”
In the interview, Blige discussed her role in the film and why she decided to be apart of “Black Nativity.”
“Being the angel [Platinum Fro] is what drew me to the role,” said Blige. “I needed to play that role – helping someone is the story of my own career.”
